Here's the definitive collection of all the gear I use as a content creator that allows me to be the most effective and efficient I can be.

 

As a Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador, of course all the main cameras are Sony, but I do use other pieces from other brands depending on the use case.

Sony A1 II

My main camera that does absolutely everything. Photo, video, long-form, short-form—all of it. 

Sony A1

My old main camera that used to do everything but now is on YouTube and webcam duty. Still used as a second body when I need it. 

Sony A7R5

When I'm out specifically to shoot photos, I use this as a second body. Otherwise, it's used around the studio to help shoot video nowadays. 

Sony A7CR

When I want to travel light but still want my lenses, I take this little guy around with me. Great walkaround camera.

Sony A74

My YouTube camera of choice. Good price to performance, sharp, does what I need it to do. 

Sony RX100VII

My favourite little sidekick. I bring this everywhere with me and have shot many portfolio-level images on it. 

Sony RX1RII

When I feel in the mood for full frame but slightly more run and gun, I reach for this. 

Sony ZV-E1

Fantastic vlog camera and video-specific tool. 

Sony 16-35mm GM II

Used for vlogs and landscapes. Love it very much. 

Sony 24-70mm GM II

The do-it-all lens. I never used to be a 24-70 person, but now I am. My favourite lens. 

Sony 70-200 GM II

Honestly don't use it enough, but really enjoy it every time I do. Light and super sharp. 

Sony 16-35mm PZ

I love using the 16-35 focal range, and I always bring this when I want it but also want to travel light. Great lens. 

Sony 85mm GM II

I love the 85mm focal length so much. This version 2 is everything I ever wanted out of an 85mm lens.

Sony 50mm f1.2 GM

I love the f1.2 on this lens. It's so dreamy. I used this a lot when I used to do podcasts. 

Sony 35mm GM 

My old favourite focal length. Does it all and you can't go wrong. 

Sony 24mm GM

Now my favourite single focal length. Also the length I use for YouTube videos. I have two copies. 

Sony 14mm GM

A fairly situation lens I use for interiors or astro. Fun for vlogging on too!

Sony 20mm G

Honestly don't use this very much, but this is a great vlogging lens.

Sony 40mm G

Fantastic walkaround lens. I really love the focal length, and the lightness and portability is top notch for me. 

Sony 24mm G

Same as the 40mm G, but at a focal length I love even more.

Sony Zeiss 55mm

One of my OG lenses that I just can't bring to sell. Hella sharp and very light. Great build quality too. 

Sony 2x extender

For those times I need a 400mm reach. 

Sony ECM-M1

All-round great mic. 

DJI Mavic 3 Classic

A drone I've used for many years now. As I live in Japan I don't find a use for flying it much unfortunately. 

DJI Osmo Pocket 3

A fantastic little vlog camera. 

DJI Action 4

For anything that requires an action cam. I don't really use it enough to upgrade to the v5. 

DJI Mic 2

Fantastic set of mics with great quality. 

Peak Design Travel Tripod, Carbon

The best tripod I've ever had.
